The short answer
What it costs. Rebranding costs vary more than almost any other marketing project, because a rebrand can mean anything from a new logo to a new name, strategy and every customer touchpoint. Published figures we checked range from a few thousand dollars for a minimal identity package to six figures and beyond for a full agency led rebrand (Ramotion, their figures).
Where the website fits. The website is usually the most visible part of a rebrand, and often the biggest single piece of rollout. SmartDesign, SmartReach AI's AI powered B2B website design solution, builds the website from $2,500 for a full site of up to 7 pages, with copywriting and SEO setup included. Logo and branding is an add on starting at $500 for all, from logo only through a full brand identity (palette, type, guidelines); scope quoted per project (see SmartDesign rebranding).
Who this guide is for. B2B founders and marketing leads planning a brand refresh or rebrand and trying to scope it.
How to scope it. Decide how deep the change goes (refresh, reboot or full overhaul), list every touchpoint that has to change, then price strategy, identity and rollout separately.

What rebranding actually covers
A rebrand is usually three projects in one:
Ramotion, a branding agency, puts it plainly in its own guide: a logo represents just a fraction of the total rebranding costs. Most of the cost sits in strategy and rollout, not in the mark itself.
How deep is your rebrand?
Ramotion's guide describes three levels of change (their framing):
- Refresh: incremental improvements, such as color refinement, typography updates and minor logo adjustments.
- Reboot: positioning and identity rebuilt in parallel, with core touchpoints like website core pages and sales decks updated.
- Overhaul: full transformation across strategy, architecture, and touchpoints.
Be honest about which one you need. Many B2B rebrands are really a refresh plus a new website.
Published rebranding and branding costs
These are figures from pages we opened on 10 October 2026. They are each company's own estimates, not ours, and they will change. Check the source before relying on them.
| What is being bought | Published figure |
|---|---|
| Visual identity from a freelance designer | Less than $5,000 tier |
| Minimal branding package (visual positioning document, logo and wordmark, primary color palette, basic logo guidelines) | $3,000 to $7,500 |
| Basic branding package (adds brand patterns, secondary palette, application examples) | $7,500 to $25,000 |
| Advanced branding package (adds type system, collateral, social assets) | $25,000 to $75,000 |
| Brand refresh or light reboot, small or early stage company | Approximately $20,000 to $75,000 |
| Agency fees for strategy and identity alone | From about $40,000 into the low six figures |
| Rebranding, mid market company | $75,000 to $250,000 |
| SmartDesign website | From $2,500 for a full website of up to 7 pages, copy and SEO setup included |
These come from an agency point of view and cover different scopes, so treat them as a map of the market, not a quote.
What drives the cost of a rebrand
- Strategic depth. Research, interviews, positioning and messaging work take time. A rebrand that changes what you say costs more than one that changes how you look.
- Naming and legal checks. A new name means trademark searches and legal review. Ramotion notes that legal work scales with geography.
- The identity system. A logo alone is the smallest piece. A full system (palette, typography, imagery, iconography, guidelines) costs more and lasts longer.
- Number of touchpoints. Every page, deck, template and profile that carries the brand has to be updated.
- Languages and markets. Each language version of the website and materials adds work.
- Who does it. Freelancers, studios and agencies price very differently. Ramotion notes freelancer models may reduce headline costs but often require stronger internal management.
- Contingency. Ramotion recommends a contingency buffer of 10 to 15 percent to manage evolving requirements (their recommendation).
The website: the part buyers see first
For a B2B company, the website is where most buyers meet the new brand. It is also where a rebrand can quietly fail: a new logo on old copy, old structure and an unclear next step still will not book meetings.
Treat the website as its own line in the plan:
- Copy. A new positioning needs new words, not just new colors.
- Structure. Pages built around who the buyer is and the one action you want them to take.
- SEO. Existing pages that bring traffic need a plan before addresses change.
- Upkeep. Who hosts, secures and edits the site after launch.
If only the website needs work and your brand is fine, you may not need a rebrand at all. See how much a website redesign costs and the SmartDesign website redesign page.

FAQ
How much does rebranding cost?
It depends on how deep the change goes. Published figures we checked on 10 October 2026 ranged from $3,000 to $7,500 for a minimal branding package to approximately $20,000 to $75,000 for a small company refresh or light reboot, and more for mid market and enterprise rebrands (Ramotion figures). Compare strategy, identity and rollout separately.
How much does a logo and website cost together?
Price them as two lines. With SmartDesign, the website is from $2,500 for a full website of up to 7 pages, with copywriting and SEO setup included. Logo and branding is an add on starting at $500 for all, from logo only through a full brand identity (palette, type, guidelines). Scope is quoted per project.
Does SmartDesign include logo design?
Not by default. SmartDesign applies your brand to your website. Logo and branding is an add on starting at $500 for all, from logo only through a full brand identity (palette, type, guidelines); scope quoted per project. See the SmartDesign rebranding page for how it works.
What is the difference between a brand refresh and a rebrand?
A refresh updates what you have, such as colors, type and small logo changes. A rebrand rebuilds positioning and identity, and sometimes the name, then rolls them out across every touchpoint.
Should I redesign my website before or after a rebrand?
After the positioning and identity are agreed. Building the website on a settled brand avoids doing it twice.
Can SmartDesign build a rebranded website in Hebrew or another right to left language?
Yes. SmartDesign builds websites in any language, including Hebrew and other right to left languages.
